Well I'm sure pleased to add Mr. Lucky to our herd this year! Lucky is a nicely put together young buckling from my favourite Canadian breeder, Amanda at Curl Creek Farm. Lucky's pedigree speaks volumes with some serious milk production and super correct udder structure that we are working really hard to achieve in our breeding program. Lucky's dam Curl Creek Willow is a gorgeous doe with beautiful mammary structure. Willow has spent some time in the show ring and placed 3rd at West Nationals in 2019 and took Grand Champion at K Days that same year. Willow earned her milkstar during her 3rd freshening milking 4lbs 14oz.
Lucky's sire is the newest US imported buck from Lil Miss B Haven, Golden Ticket. GT's dam Francine produced 860lbs of milk during her second freshening in 228 days. Francine has incredibly correct udder structure with nice thick long teats, proper placement and excellent width and area of attachment. GT's sire Gold Centrefolds dam, Wood Bridge Farm 22k Gold took the title of ADGA's National Champion in 2021. Lucky's got a lot behind him in this pedigree and we can't wait to see what he brings to the table here for us.
